After 15 years of trying—and mostly failing—to consistently create high-quality content, I’ve made a decision.
2025 is the year I go pro.
No more dabbling. No more “when I have time.” I’m committing to the craft. And whether you’re building a business, writing a book, or reinventing your health, I think this same mindset shift can help you too.
Here are the 4 ways I’m investing in going pro and how you can apply them to your own journey.
1. Make a Weekly Upgrade
Every week, my team and I commit to one small improvement. A better headline. A sharper thumbnail. A clearer CTA. These tweaks are simple, but when stacked week over week, they build serious momentum. 52 upgrades in a year? That’s transformational.
Try this: choose one area of your life or business, and brainstorm 12 things you could improve. Then commit to one upgrade per week for a quarter.
2. Track and Review
It’s not enough to just do, you’ve got to review. Look at your metrics. Measure what matters. With content, I track views, watch times, and click-through rates. But you can apply this anywhere.
Trying to improve your sleep? Your fitness? Your revenue? Check in.
Track progress. Learn and adjust.
3. Surround Yourself with Pros
You can’t play at a high level if you’re not around high-level players. I hired a coach. I follow creators I admire. I listen, learn, and let their frequency raise mine.
You’ve heard it before: you’re the average of the five people you spend the most time with. Don’t take that lightly.
If your circle isn’t stretching you, find a new one online, in a mastermind, or in a book.
4. Play the Infinite Game
This one’s the hardest—and the most powerful. Going pro means embracing the process over the outcome. The infinite game never ends. You don’t win it by arriving at a destination. You win it by falling in love with the craft.
When you adopt that mindset, you don’t get discouraged by slow growth. You don’t burn out. You keep showing up, improving, evolving.
It took me 15 years to stop playing small. But the shift was simple:
Show up like a pro—even before you feel like one.
🎥 I break all of this down in more detail in my latest YouTube video:
(It’s the most honest video I’ve made—and I think it’ll fire you up.)
Which of these 4 are you going to commit to in 2025?
